Riva del Garda is located at the top of the Lake Garda, in the province of Trento in Northern Italy. This small Italian village has an international soul but it can boast Central European style and a Mediterranean climate.
The Riva del Garda Congress Centre is the only location placed right on the shore of the Lake Garda suitable for large events. With its breath-taking lake view the Congress Centre is right in the heart of the town and the hotels are so close to it that you can easily walk to. Walking and cycling is simple and allow you to enjoy the clean air, the mild Mediterranean climate all the year and the peace and quiet of this beautiful, unspoilt area. Participants will appreciate the added value that Riva del Garda’s healthy lifestyle and well-being can offer.
The Congress Centre is equipped with a 900-seats pleanary hall, a 2,000 m2 multi-functional area and 6 breakout rooms that can be divided into 14 smaller rooms of variable size. Modular rooms and spaces with natural light and removable seats result in the utmost flexibility for a totally tailor-made event.
OUTSTANDING LOCAL VARIETY
The Trentino area is blessed with agricultural treasures that inspire chefs all over the year for their healthy, tasty and seasonal dishes. This lakeside paradise is famous for its vineyards, olive groves, apples and fruit, lake fish and every kind of vegetable.
“NO!” TO FOOD WASTE
The Riva del Garda Congress Centre is member of the national “Food for Good” project, that guarantees that local charitable associations receive donations of any food left from events. Accurate management procedures ensure the correct preservation of food according to the strict health and safety standards. The aim is also to actively involve organisers and participants and raise their awareness of this important initiative.
ENVIRONMENTAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is at the heart of all the services provided by the Riva del Garda Congress Centre. It achieved ISO 20121 Certification for sustainable events. We work alongside event organizers providing the appropriate support in order to reduce enviromental, economic and social impact to the bare minimum. Examples of how we make it are optimisation of buildings for minimum energy consumption, high level recycling, the “Food for Good” project that ensures the reduction of food waste and the organization of tailor-made sustainable transport.
